This is my first blog post for a site called Outdoor Gear Web. I wanted to write it because I know there’s a lot of people like me out there, who like to get out and recreate in the winter, but cant always afford new gear.

I really enjoyed writing this because my first tip is to shop used. This is a greener way to shop, and I’m a big believer in reusing gear to help minimize our impact on the planet.
